Tokyo, Apr 21-23: HSC, together with partner ICNL, was in Tokyo for the Civil Society 20 Summit, carrying on advocacy efforts to flag the issue of financial access difficulties (de-risking) for nonprofit organizations ahead of the G20 Summit in Osaka in June. The issue has been taken up by both the International Financial Architecture as well as the Local2Global working groups, as reflected in this C20 Policy Pack that resulted from the Summit and will be shared with G20 stakeholders. HSC and her partners will be organizing an event on the sidelines of the G20 as well, and is hoping to get some political commitment on the issue. More details to follow.
